Tenés que registrarte en Gravatar:
http://site.gravatar.com/
Es una base de datos de avatars y la podés integrar a tu blog con un simple plugin (o a mano, es muy facil), y luego a partir del email ingresado te muestra la imagen. Otros sitios que usan Gravatar son http://www.TechTear.com o http://www.ElaineMarley.com
